Kelsey-Koranda-Headshot

Kelsey Koranda, MA, LIMHP

Kelsey is an energetic, fun-loving therapist who is passionate about helping others. She has a very gentle and empathetic approach to therapy, and loves to create a space where people can truly be themselves. She feels honored by the opportunity to walk alongside individuals as they navigate the journey of life, and believes that vulnerability is a true gift to witness. Asking for help can be very difficult, so Kelsey ensures that her approach makes her clients feel safe, heard, and understood.

Although suffering and pain are uncomfortable, Kelsey believes that the process of therapy, vulnerability and healing can result in a deep level of strength and resilience. She believes that our stories have power, and although not all experiences are positive, a positive future can come from any experience.

Kelsey graduated from Doane College (University) in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She then went directly into her graduate program at Colorado Christian University where she received a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Kelsey has also received a certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which allows her to effectively support individuals working through past traumatic experiences. She has worked in several therapeutic settings, allowing for a wide array of experience and growth. And while she specializes in working with children and adolescents, she also enjoys working with adults.

When not working, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to new places, running, hiking, and camping. She loves adventure, being outdoors and pushing her body and mind to new limits. Although very outgoing, Kelsey is also an introvert who loves down time with silence and a good book. She loves to laugh, have fun, and embrace the simple things.

Kelsey accepts self-pay, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Midlands Choice, Medica, and United Healthcare/UMR/Optum.
